Guy Pearce told Good Morning America that the sequel to 1994's The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert will likely shoot in 2027 and come out in 2028 - a year after co-star Terence Stamp's death at age 87. Director Stephan Elliott earlier pre-shot all of Stamp's Bernadette scenes months before the actor died, after Stamp insisted he didn't want a digital clone of himself, saying 'just in case I don't make the start line'.
